404handler gadget problem

Hi all!

I just installed the 404handler module on a EPiServer 6 R2 site, but something is not working correctly.

In the dashbord I can add the gadget for module, but the gadgets title says "Missing text..." and the body of the gadget says "Internal Server Error [404]". Checking the detailed error message it says it cannot find '/Webbrot/modules/BVNetwork.FileNotFound.RedirectGadget/Redirect?_=1400785684971&gadgetId=323f2b6a-2c12-4489-93ed-b421c449925c'

Any ideas what might be the problem here?

Hi Christian,

The 404 handler from BVNetwork is a open source project so you should be able to download the source and debug it.

That being said. Concerning the Missing text isssue, are you using english as language in editmode? I seem to remember having to add my own language file for languages other then english.

Concerning the second issue. Did the folder BVNetwork.FileNotFound.RedirectGadget get added to your moduels folder in the root of your site?

Yes the folder has been added under ~/modules/

I think the next step will have to be to download the source and debug it.
