Slow performance check stock qty when add to cart

Thank you for your time and effort for this suggestion. Performance tuning is one of the most important tasks when we developing EPiServer Commerce (and all other EPiServer products in general). We will investigate your suggestion and hopefully we can improve the perfomance for adding items to cart.

Will there be any fix for this anytime soon or do we have to fix this ourself the "bad" way?
We cannot have this performance when the site goes live.

We made a fix based on your suggestion and it's finding its way to release - if everything goes well then hopefully in a couple of weeks it'll be made public.

I wrote a post in the "developer to developer" area, but did not get any response (guess I posted it in the wrong area). So i am wonder if this is how it should be and if you could take a look at it (maybe move it?)
