EPiserver Client Components on Vista x64

I have some problems installing the EPiserver Client Components on my Vista x64. Is it Vista or the x64 that cause the problem or can it be something else. The installation of the ActiveX control starts but then the page says done but nothing happens. If I refresh the ActiveX controls asks to be installed again.
