Suddenly a page requires login

I encountered som weird functionality today. A page suddenly requires one to be logged on to be able to view it. Yesterday this did not happen and suddenly today you can't access it as a visitor to the page. I have checked the rights to the page and both the Everyone and Anonymous has the read checkbox checked. How can this be?

I have seen that problem when trying to open a page which is published, but StartPublish date or StopPublish date is later/earlier than todays date. Björn Gullander Bilia Webservice

Hi. Usually the page in question has a link/reference to another page that requires access rights. For example it could be that it is in the recycle bin or it is not published anymore. A trick is to create a episerver user that has no access rights and try to login to the page. In the error message you will then get the page its referring too. Or you can enable EPiServer Logging at Debug level, info about it on www.episerver.com/faq Regards Per

It was the latter one, also found it in the FAQ section after spending quite some time scratching in the head. One page was moved to the recycle bin but I didn't get it to work again until I applied the access rights again.
